Maki provides more utility as she can enter an exit colonies, can sneak up and scout other sorcerers, she likely could've beat Kenjaku and dealt with his myriad of curses as stated by Yuga and supported by her dismantling of the Zenin clan, and she would absolutely trounce Todo pre and post vibraslap as she has no cursed energy and cannot be touched by his technique. Just wanted to point that out
